Ah, nearly you all asked me, to show how I work with the fur. So I just tried to make some tutorial for you, or, just show some phasis picture from it. Because my english isn't the best, and hard to explain this, I hope the images, and the random pictures next the tutorial phasis will be helpfull!
The first, I never used any special brush or effect on the fur, always made the whole in my own hand with brush-size: 2 or 3. So now you can see the basic in this, I just grabed up a little fur-ground, and make it in my style.
~~~
1. The main. Just pick up a color, the base color what you want to use, and fill the ground. 2. Decide about the light, where the light come from, and make some lighter brush-lines in the light-side of the main ground. 3. Pick up the darker version of the base color, and put some darker lines in the other side.
These are the main steps, to get the basic lights. Every other step follow that main.
4. Don't be afraid, use darker lines on the darker side, and try to follow how the fur comes in the main body. You always MUST follow this way, that is the key for the softness. 5. Now you must make longer fur, to cover the whole part of the picture, so you can make darker again, and try to fix it before the finished version. 6. Okay, now you get the nearly finished version, just some prepare for this, grab the darkest color, what you want to see in the fur, and put it on, and try to follow still the fur's way. And don't forget, just soft, where the dark starts to disappear, you can use your tablet softly, and not use in your best power it. 7. Now you can fix the end of the ground, and continue the fur's way more than the lineart is. 8. The finishing touches, finish the plume
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example.
